on tap..aroma of chocolate, faint grassy hops, and a touch of brown sugar..flavor is large in chocolate, cereal, rye, and black licorice..hints of annise and clove as well...not bland, but lacking character

On tap. Light brown, clear. Very little chocolate came through and the beer seemed a little weak / watery... I was expecting it to be a bit fuller. Some hints of rye, but that seemed more of a general spiced flavor. Not my favorite from the Hideout, which has many great beers.

Draft @ Brew HaHa. A dark cola/porter color with ruby tones around the edges of the glass.Nice aroma of cinnamon and nutmeg. Flavor is toasty and malty at first, the rey does not come acroos as dry as usual, could almost be sweet but is not, very balanced, the spice is well done, you get a little of that mace and nutmeg at the end but not overpowering at all ,very good. Light crisp mouthfeel. . A very fun and interesting brew,if you ever get the chance try it.

well, it’s definitely spiced...nutmeg perhaps, a LITTLE cinnamon....clove? I can’t tell, but it has a nice mellow chocolate flavor, and a subtle rye finish. Also finishes with floral hoppiness....delicious.

On tap at Hideout. Deep brown body, medium tan clumping head with the look of floating oatmeal flakes. Spicy, fruity, light aroma. Smooth fruity body, sweet, cerealy with strong rye character. Took a few sips to detect the spices, but I picked up the nutmeg and cinnamon beneath the bready, fruity rye malt. Quaffable with appropriate spicing that does not overpower the interesting rye.
