RCL (997), Boston, Massachusetts, USA May 22, 2008 This beer is pretty much crap. Thin, rather acidic aroma. Papery, bitter flavor. Blech. georgekappus (296), Brookfield, Connecticut, USA Apr 25, 2008 Bottle. Pours a cloudy yellow with a thin white head and little bits of sediment. The aroma was wheaty and something indiscernable. Tasted a bit of spice, but for the most part was undrinkable. theisti (992), Leawood, Kansas, USA Apr 3, 2008 12 oz. bottle from beastiefan2k. Pour is a hazy yellow - golden with a pure white fluffy white head. Decent retention on the head, with some pretty lacing. There are some floating particulates visible on the pour. Aroma of sour lemon earthiness. Some malty wheatiness in the nose as well. Seemed to be a Wit or Saison nose. Flavor was pretty unusual, it had the lemon and earthiness, but the sour seemed a little bit displaced in the flavor, only appearing at the back of the tongue on the finish. There is a nice depth to the bready citrus maltiness. Overall the palate is a bit on the thin side, but the lack of filtering makes the body seem much bigger. Similar to the other High & Mighty beer I have had, very interesting, different, and well done. ukoolaid (565), Amherst, Massachusetts, USA Mar 28, 2008 Pours a hazy golden with long lasting thin white head. Aroma is medium sweet floral hops. Taste is citrus floral hops with a bit of a bite in the finish. chris_o (4398), London, Greater London, England Feb 16, 2008 Bottle at St Albans Beer Festival, September 2007. Hazy straw colour. The concept sounded more interesting than the reality. A little grassy hop but mainly bready, almost doughy, malt. Too much of it for my liking. This produced a rather dull mouthfeel.Tasted rather tired. Perhaps an elderly bottle (I didn’t actually look at the bottle)?
