Dec 17, 2009 Hazy golden color with a rocky lingering head. Black pepper, spicy hop, honey biscuit aromas. Frothy expansive mouthfeel. Nice spicy, grassy hop flavors on a dusty pale malt base. Dry finish. dry.

Nov 28, 2009 Pours golden w/ a light, fluffy head from the 22oz. bottle into my plastic cup on Miami’s South Beach: Crisp bite, light bodied, and light on the ABV. Strong on citrus, notably lemon and some orange, and other fruity hints. With a slight, grassy-hop overtone. Not a fan of the style, but this one passes as ok. Drinkability: Light, lemons, crisp. Rebuy: I don’t know, maybe not, ha. #222 on 28112009, DG.

Nov 19, 2009 Almost white in appearance. Very lively head. Tastes mildly spicey with clean flavors. Ends very dry. A decent beer. Could see drinking a bunch in the summer.

Sep 27, 2009 The aroma is malty and yeasty with grassy hops. The appearance is pale gold with a foamy head. The flavor is like the aroma with a bit of astringency. The palate is what I expect from the style. Overall a decent beer but not one I would rave about.

Sep 20, 2009 Great name. Ok beer. On tap at Deep Ellum on a trip to boston for my cousin’s wedding. Light and great for summer with a lemon citrus flavor. Grassy hay aroma. Light yellow color and big white head. Slightly toasted grain and corn flavor.

Sep 18, 2009 Appearance is banana yellow with a thick, fluffy head. Cloudy, with lots of tiny carbonation bubbles floating up. Looks like a hefeweizen.
Smells of a mild pilsner. Mildly bitter hops, but also a spicy Belgianish orange peel. Smell is weak. Mix between Belgian ale and mild pils.
Bitterish hops but a stale, musty taste, as if it sat in the cellar too long. Has a dry mahogany flavor. Has an ashtray taste.
Dry and ashy. Has a dry afterfeel. An ashy, bitter hefeweizen. It’s a confused beer and not in a great way.

Sep 15, 2009 at the first fresh sip it brings and hard bitter of pine. after a minutes of breathing it mellows out a little and makes a quite drinkable beer. the malts are hops are very balance with a touch of floral and lots of pine.
