tap at brewpub-this is a pretty fresh batch of this beer however, i have had this beer before and it tasted way differently. pours deep copper/orange with a soapy small white head. nose is kind of wierd-a mix of piney hops, sweet malts and a really greeen/spicy/grassy note that recals noble hops? hmm noble hops in a DIPA? maybe so! flavors show these green hops with a healthy dose of sweet malt-alot of fresh cascade cones in the flavors. not very complex, but decent in its own right. The other versions of this beer i have had were much in line with say a very piney DIPA such as Moylans hopsicle. decent and will revisit with a different batch.

On tap at the High Desert Brewpub. Pours a light orange color with a nice off-white head and great lacing. The aroma is light pine and floral hops, pale malts and some bready yeast. The flavor is very well balanced malt sweetness and hop bitterness. The palate is medium to heavy, effervescent, and fizzy. Overall, this is a subdued and well made DIPA, with a good flavor and great mouthfeel.

Draft a few years ago at the pub. Big orange pour, white head. Nice piney and resinous nose. Big malty flavors backed up fairly well with a grapefruit, pine, and citrus hop presence. Flavors work well together. Nice slight spice presence. Good stuff! Probably my favorite beer I tried down there...
