3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bomber from High Hops. Aroma: citrus, floral, heavy pine, caramel. Palate: light to medium body, bitter lasting finish, sticky texture, average carbonation. Taste: sweet start to heavy hoppy finish, transition is abrupt and not smooth. Overall, good, but nothing to rave about. Balance is a bit off.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
22 oz bottle. Pours clear ruby amber with a big creamy off white head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is sugary melons, caramel malts and some piney hops.
The flavor is sweet sugary caramel malts, and melons with a good bitterness in the finish. It has some odd notes in the flavor though - green caramel apple. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, a decent sweet sugary DIPA with caramel green apple.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pour on tap at the brewery, hazy orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of grass, pine, slight grapefruit, hints of orange peel, into a bit of biscuit, caramel, slight yeasty and spicy notes with a bit of lemon zest. Taste is a mix of lemon zest, orange peel, grapefruit, slight orange, into some caramel, toffee, nice grass and pine, finishing fairly bitter, dry.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Clear rusty golden under a thin white head. Aroma is dank and fruity with notes of resinous grapefruit and a touch of lemon with some sweet earthy caramel tones. Flavor is strongly bitter with some BO tones, a bit of funky floral tones, and a dank earthy malty backbone.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: JAN 15, 2013 Tap @ High Hops. Pours a dark copper orange appearance with an off white head. Sweet caramel malty, somewhat herbal, grapefruit hoppy aroma. A little strong but fairly well balanced, toasted malty, grapefruity, lightly floral flavor. Slightly alcoholic but not bad.
