"The first beer brewed at High House Farm is this fine amber coloured traditional bitter with a fresh malty aroma. It is a true session beer that delivers a highly rewarding drink."

On tap at White Cross Inn Beer Festival. Rich copper with a white head. There’s an odd vinegar scent coming from this which is sharp and mildly unpleasant. Thankfully the mouth taste isn’t the same. There’s a hint of eggs and malt. Not as unpleasant with it’s bitter malt finish - but just bizarre.

6/11/11/12/7/12

Cask conditioned at The Olde Ship, Seahouses, Northumberland. Amber with white head. This is a really tasty session type beer, fresh, biscuity malts with a nicely balanced leafy hop, a touch of fruitiness and just a hint of roasiness. I liked this quite a lot.

Cask@GBBF 2009. Copper-amber color, steady off-white head. Light citrusy hops. Light palate. Slightly sweet with nutty hoppyness. Straightforward session ale, which is not that interesting, but well-brewed.
