Named after a much loved sheep-dog , this is a robust full bodied porter with a lightly roasted aroma and a smooth bitter chocolate finish.

Gravity, Coventry 2011- first HHF beer I’ve seen anywhere but their tap, although I actually went up for a New Shoes. Not so happy accident; nose pure boiled egg- nothing wrong with it but it doesn’t make me want to wade in.Chestnut with copper tints and a well-retained cream lid. Slight and hay-accented with a hint of aubergine. Spectacularly ordinary.
