3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A Mes rate: Gravicask at Fin’s excellent Merton Beer Festival.
An excellent bright amber colour with a thin but good white head and in very good condition. A good fruity and sugary brown ale type aroma with some pale malt and faint hops. Similar flavour. Very fruity and sweet. Nice dry, fruity finish. Interesting and rather tasty.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cask gravity at Six Bells Woodchurch. Attractive looking clear darkish brown reddish beer with lasting beige head. Oooh yes now that is nice. Earthy fruity and bitter. Just what a strong English bitter should be like. Touch of choc on finish. Really good hedgerow fruits and earthy hops. Pretty good.
