Comments: Extremely grainy, slightly vegetal. Tartish with onion post-taste. Quite bad.

UPDATED: FEB 29, 2012 Cask at GBBF 2011. Golden colour with a creamy white head. Hoppy nose. Hoppy and floral flavour, a bit flat.

Cask @ random place near Hadrian’s Wall. Clear gold with thick sparkler head. Aroma is sweet and fruity, whereas the flavors are hoppy and balanced with a surprisingly bitter herbal finish.

Cask at brewpub. Orange-lemon barley malt aroma. Golden yellow color with small head. Sweet honey malt and moderately bitter lemon grass hops. Nice full body. An excellent session beer.

Cask (handpump) @ The Grove, Huddersfield, England.
Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, creamy to frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, hay, fruity, light to moderate hoppy, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090716]

Cask in the market porter. Alround rating: Pale lightly sweet malt, notes of sulphur, minerally earthyness, grassy hop. Not hot.

Cask, Kings Head, Carlisle. A fine, sharp pale ale, with plenty of citrus and a good tangy palate. Slightly peachy taste somewhere in there too. Great session beer for a warm summer evening.

Cask at Bow Bar ... golden amber ... light water hop ... light fruity dry hop ... light bitterness ... light swet toffee linger.

Cask Stillage at the GBBF Earl’s Court, London 08/08/2007 Hoppy aroma. Clear golden coloured hoppy and floral with some dryness in a crisp and creamy finish.

Cask handpull at the brewtap, High House Farm, Matfen. Same sensible gold topped with creamy white looks as Nel’s Best. Ripe apple crumble, slight butter, vanilla and fresh musky hop aroma with a generous squeeze of Bramling Cross. Attractively hopped apple and honey-hinting bitter with a good dry finish and nutty biscuit linger.

Clear golden with tiny short lasting white head. Sweet aroma with peachy and mild hoppy notes. Sweet flavor with floral hops, caramel and mild fruits. Ens somewhat bitter.
