maybe the best high and mighty I have had. All the smoked beers I have had before were heavy so this is very interesting for me. Colored very light almost white with big bubblely head. lots of effervescence. The aroma is some sweet grain and grass hops with gentle touch of smoke. taste is a bit of flower and again the smoke with bitter comes int he finish. I want a second. Wish this German style smoke beer was more common.

Bottle. Pours clear golden with a medium white head. The aroma is bit hoppy and light sourish with some smoked notes. The flavour has some sour notes, hops, ham and smoke. Bitter fruity finish.

Aromas of rye malts, a light soft smoky edge. With some hops and funk. Soft body and texture. Quite drinkable but nothing I’d go for again.

Clear light to medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, fruity, smoke. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120128]

Unclear golden of color with a white head. An aroma of smoke, sweets and sausage. A flavor of smoke, citrus, bitter and light in taste.

Bottle @ Too many Geuze’s - only one toilet , Ulfborg 2012. Pours clear yellow with a small white head. Smoked salami, grain and sausage in the nose. Smoked flavor with ham and firecamp. Ok and tasty but kind of misses the dark malts.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with medium duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are smoke, bacon, sausage, malt and hops.

22 fl oz bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is fruity and phenolic. Light spiced. Bitter, slight chemical and dry hoppy. Chemical, dry and spiced into the finish.
