3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Defreni (1933) - Husum, - JAN 21, 2012

Bottle. Cloudy golden beer with a strong head. The aroma is hopped with a citric touch, and the flavour is fruity and vinous with a sweet and mildly bitter finish. Overall a reasonable bitter and fruity beer with a palatable lightness .

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 RasmusOtt (775) - Aalborg, DENMARK - APR 7, 2012
Bottle at tasting. Pours golden with a that soapy white saison head. On the nose I got sweet pear, barnyardy saisonish notes, brett, lime, citrusy herbs, leaves, dryish basement and some floral notes. Taste is nice orange peek, citrus up front, lime, pear, , tart, brett, saisonish dryness, herbs and a kinda sharp grassy feel to it aswell. Very good.

Bottle. 4.5%. Pours a hazy pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma is sweet, tart and smooth, with notes of yeast. Very well-balanced. Sweetish flavour with grassy hops, notes of yeast and a lurking bitterness which follows through to the finish. Remote plastic notes, which increase as it warms. Warming also brings out notes of horse blanket. Bitter, dry finish with a slight liquorice touch, hops, faint plastic notes and a lingering metallic feel. Too much carbonation. Overall refreshing and pretty good, but the carbonation is a minus. 30.03.12.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 phredrik (887) - Aalborg, DENMARK - MAR 31, 2012
66 cl bottle at tasting. Label read 4,5% abv. Pours clear yellow with a small white head. The aroma is very nice. Estery saison yeast, oranges, lemon peel, honey, very nice farmhouse quality, slightly bretty. Rather yeast forward in the taste, still the notes of oranges and orange peel faintly tart, notes of apple juice and honey. Citrusy hoppy finish. The body is very light, which makes it go down very easily. Very crisp, very clean, very refreshing. Definitely a beer that would be awesome on a hot summer’s day. What a surprise. I would drink this all summer if I had the chance.
