3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 ABUSEDGOAT (1937) - USA - JAN 18, 2007
Hazy golden orange with a large head, good lacing and retention. Aroma is very fruity with grapefruit, pears, bread, light caramel and yeast notes. Flavor brings this, slightly watery finish despite a very enjoyable flavor profile. Light bitterness. Loved it other than the relatively weak body.

Pours golden with a thin wispy off-white head. Notes of cascade, citrus, lemon, pale malt, lightly bitter herbs. Medium bodied, lightly resinous with lush carbonation.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Scrapersnbeer (461) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - APR 29, 2012
Aroma of citrus dish liquid. Infection? Hard to say. Off-bitter apricot flavor, yet again with the dishsoap. Lighter orange, hazed with suspension. Light body, easy to drink in spite of a bittering finish. Not so great.
1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20 maxwelldeux (328) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - APR 25, 2012
Pours a very light golden color with quite a bit of cloudiness. Has a slight amount of head on it. I find it slightly skunky with a bit of a soapy and long-lasting palate.

12oz Bottle, purchased at Downtown Liquor - Somerville, MA. Clean, relatively bland and straightforward ale aroma. Body is thin. Texture and depth are absent. There’s a vague gauze of light minty, leafy, and spicy hop character, but it’s not extensive and not all that interesting. Clean, but un-captivating.

From tap at Jacob Wirth. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is fruity and crisp hoppy. Crisp fruity, bitter and lingering fruity. Crisp and bitter finish.
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 PhatB420 (372) - Pittsfield, Massachusetts, USA - SEP 2, 2011
Solid pour, head lasts awhile. Fruity, musky smell and taste. Goes down nicely wiht various sweet citrus overtones. Feeling apricot and peach the most. Golden hay with shaded sun coloring. A fine sipping microbrew here. Goes well with sharp cheese and tarts but thats your perrogitive. Hay feel in the aftertase brings feelings of open fields of hops and malt. A delicate treat on the pallate.

A cloudy golden brew with very good carbonation out of the bottle. Light citrus aromas. Bready flavors with good fruit-spice hop balance. Clean finish. A good one!

Sample. A bit malty with strong hop bitterness. The flavors didn’t seem to have blended as well as they should have. Maybe this was a young batch.

UPDATED: MAY 11, 2011 Hazy amber; frothy white head. Juicy oily pungent hop aroma. Flavor - same; bready taste, crisply hopped. Very nice pale ale, for my money, best beer from High & Mighty so far.
