Can. First pour had zero head, no pop when I opened the can. Thought I had a bad one, so i tried again. Still no pop. Poured aggressively, it produces one fat finger of head that dissipates quickly. Nose is bready wheat. Very cask-y palate. Minimal carbonation, medium body. I get a faint funkiness, dry wheat and faint honey. Tart finish with a tiny bit of lemon. Meh.

Can. Pours hazy golden with minimal white head. Nose is wheaty pale malt, mild hops, citrus, bready notes. Tastes wheaty, citric, with a limey zip up front, some hops at mid-palate, and a crisp finish.

Cloudy yellow, good head and lace, thin-bodied. Lemony nose and slighttaste, not as complex as some others but an okay beer. A bit of twang on the palate, finished pretty clean

Clear golden with a fizzy white head. Sweet honey wheat bread aroma and taste with a honey finish.

Draught glass at work party. Pretty foamy light brown pour that had a medium head. Aroma and flavor delivered as promised: honey sweetness and wheat...however, kinda bland. Fine though.

On tap at the brewery. Pours fairly clear gold with small white head. Aroma of sweet malt. Tastes of wheat with honey as the name implies. Served with lemon. Why? Overall just drinkable.

4 oz sample at the brewpub. Pour is hazed golden yellow. Small white head, nice lacing. Aroma of grassy wheat and honey, some citrus lemon in there as well. Taste is wheat, sweet honey lemon. Nice balance between the flavors, clean decent beer. Palate is this medium, not much carbonation.

Gregis (1281) - Shawnee, Kansas, USA - MAY 22, 2008
On tap at the brewpub. Pours a cloudy gold with a thin white head that diminishes quickly to a ring of bubbles clinging to the glass. Not much head retention for a wheat. The nose is sweet wheat and honey; simple but nice enough and pretty true to it’s name. Light-bodied and thin (almost aqueous) with a mildly sour finish. Sweet and slightly sour wheat with a supporting honey note and a quick finish. This is a decent wheat but certainly nothing to get excited about; pretty middle of the road to sub par for the style, especially here in Kansas.

Draught, served with a lemon wedge which was promptly removed. Aroma is indeed a blend of honeyish sweetness and wheat malt, sugary and faintly citric. Light-medium golden amber color with a slight, fading head. Flavor is a watery blend of sugary honey sweetness, clove and very light banana. Some very light citric hop flavor, bitterness is nigh inexistent. By the finish, only the lingering sweetness remains. Not good, unfortunately.
