Very fizzy looking. Surprisingly clear. Sufficently spicy aroma. Mouth-feel was too busy for me. Possibly over carbonated.

Very light and clear with a bright-white, milky head. Interesting nose; elements of fruit, yeast and alcohol. Lightweight on the palate. Spicy (can’t put my finger on the spice though), gently fruity, slightly musty, and a little perfumey. Big, sweet bubblegum overtones. Very little of the typical banana/clove. Slightly bitter finish. Not bad, but kind of odd.

Cloudy & hazy dark yellow appearance, very small fizzy head, lightly carbonated, banana undertones, excellent German style wheat beer

Ernest (5187) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - MAY 8, 2002
Head is initially small, fizzy, white, fully diminishing. Body is hazy light yellow. Aroma is lightly yeasty (dough, sweat), lightly malty (light bread), with notes of banana and clove. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter, slightly unclean. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Too sweet with an unpleasant/dirty aftertaste, dead appearance, etc.
