2.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Had this beer on 4/5/1998. Color is a deep rich brown with very low carbonation and had this may be because I have had this beer for a while. The aroma is full of nicely roasted malt. Taste, it’s a medium body beer with moderate malt back tones. It starts off with a smooth body that goes down easy then finishes with a mild malt flavor and very little hop taste or bitterness. Its a good drinking beer but nothing special.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Head is initially small, fizzy, off-white, fully diminishing. Body is medium brown, dense small particles. Aroma is moderately malty (caramel, toasted light bread). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is moderately bitter, lightly acidic, slightly unclean. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Complaints: very simple/boring malt aroma, slightly dirty aftertaste.
