Tasted at the 6th Annual Bistro Barrel Aged Beer Fest on 11/12/2011. This Baltic porter pours a dark black color from the tap. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is chocolate, coffee, wood and bourbon. A medium bodied Baltic Porter. The malts are chocolate, coffee, with some dark fruit. The hops are earthy and herbal. Touch of wood and bourbon. Nice carbonation. The roastyness last throughout the taste. Some fruit at the finish. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Tap at the Bistro BA fest. Pours very dark brown with a beige smear. Aroma of sweet dark malt. Flavor is bourbon/vanilla with some earthy notes. Turns chocolate. Then... it’s crazy. Complex. Finishes towards sweet.
