COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Blind Spot - Dark Specialty Ale: Blind Spot is ideal for the colder months, but perfectly enjoyable any time of the year. Fermented with a traditional English yeast. Wonderfully robust, full-bodied with a rich and warming finish. We have added a light dosing of dried ginger, cardamon, grain of paradise and star anise to the whirpool for some enjoyable spicing.

29-JUN-2013, bottle @Yespr tasting. Clear, dark brown with red hue and lasting tan head. Spicy aroma. Taste is spice as well. That spice is somewhat tequila-like. Toast, malt, fruit, but too much spice for me. Medium body, soft carbonation.

Smells a rich but slight musky like a creamy cheese. So dark it almost entirely blocks out light. with a thick creamy head. The tastes starts off cocoa but then the spices start to take control it ends with a slight pleasant burnt taste

Bottle shared at Olympen Friluft, july 2nd 2013. Dark brown, red tinted body, tanned lacings. Aroma of ginger, roasted malt, caramel licorice. A strange one, but good. Taste is spicy, with ginger, pepper, anis, cinnamon, and nuts, chocolate and rye. Slight acidic, with a bitter and sweet finish. Truly a special beer.

Sample from 650 ml bottle. Dark brown colour with a reddish hue. Tiny tanned head. Sweet aroma with dark chocolate, spices, toasted caramel malts, ripe sweet fruits. A sour, yeasty note. Taste is sweet. Medium body, soft carbonation. Finishes sweet and fruity with a herbal and spiced note. Okay spiced up beer. I wonder wheather that sourish, yeasty note was intended from the brewer?
