Hop Logic Imperial IPA is brewed for the true “hop head.” The nose bursts with fresh hop aromas while the palate is balanced with just enough bitterness to linger without overwhelming the more subtle among the hops flavors. The winning equation is — five quality malts plus five flavorful hops equals one fine beer! Sounds logical to us.

Keg at the Cask, Pimlico, 28/08/14. Clear golden amber with a decent off white head. Nose is caramel malt forward, sweet tones, bitter citric rinds, grapefruit, mango. Taste comprises sweet tropicana, pine coating, candyfloss, juicy hops, mango. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with juicy hop bitterness. Ok DIPA but a little overly sweet for this Bois!

2014-08-14. Dark orange amber body with a small beige head. Aroma has a lemon lime character with mineral notes, and tropical fruit notes as it warms. Flavour is sweet with dry alcoholic undertones. Interesting fruity hop melange. Alcoholic in the finish, it sneaks up on you growing as it goes. Lightly muddled hoppy fruit melange, tropical fruit, sweet not quite lychee character. Smooth average plus to medium bodied palate, light carbonation. Tasty but on the sweet side. On tap at Blue Monk, Buffalo

Bomber, which was an omake from Asahiya. Big fat caramel, powdery cake-like hops, slight alc. fumes. Dark straw color. Caramel dominates, and then the alc. becomes quite noticeable, finishes with sweet, sticky fruitiness. Medium-heavy. Okay, Nothing really out of the ordinary for this style.
