Hop Logic Imperial IPA is brewed for the true “hop head.” The nose bursts with fresh hop aromas while the palate is balanced with just enough bitterness to linger without overwhelming the more subtle among the hops flavors. The winning equation is — five quality malts plus five flavorful hops equals one fine beer! Sounds logical to us.

Draught at Taphouse. Clear amber colored with a small white head. Sweet and fruity aroma of caramel, cookies and hops with notes of pine needles and alcohol. Sweet and fruity flavor of caramel, candies and alcohol with notes of hops. Hoppy and alcoholic finish. Too alcoholic.

Draft. An amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of hops, hay, flowers, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, alcohol, over ripe fruits hops, and flowers, leading to a bitter finish.

Deep sweet citric hops... pineapple, ripe ripe fruit... thick sweetness and some nice bitters... soft carbs and an insane long warming complex finish

650ml at home. U: hazy golden amber with a fluffy yellowed head leaving nice lacings. D: Sweet honey caramel, apricot, mango, grapefruit, pine needles and wax crayons. Better when tempered. S: Sweet sticky caramel, honey, apricot, grapefruit, biscuits and a bit perfumy piney bitterness. M: Medium to big body with tickling carbonation and oily texture. Alcohol and bitterness numb the tongue a bit. T: A good example of an american west coast dipa. Maybe needs some extra depth but also definitely needs to be fresher.

22 oz bottle. Tasted on 5/17/14. Bottle from beer craft kings. The aroma has notes of pine, citrus & stone fruit. The taste was am smooth with a good sweetness upfront followed by a pretty dry finish. The hops a well balanced by the malt backbone. Not too sweet & a little less bitter than some DIPA’s. Overall a good DIPA. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at San Pedro square with Heady and Scott, poured golden orange color with medium head and pretty good lacing. light caramel, pine, citrus fruits, and some resinous flowers were my main tasting notes. Decent double ipa from High Water.

Flaska.

Very hazy gold beer, good pale cream coloured head. Palate is smooth and slightly airy. Sharp fine carbonation. Creamy malt, little caramel toffee. Light spice. Light sweetish pine, slightly minty. Mild orange peel bitterness. Smooth finish. Pretty good, less crystal malt would be better but this is a fine beer.
