3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Bronze beer with a very strong light brown foamy head. The aroma is generously hopped, and the flavour is very well hopped with large degrees of bitterness with a grassy element. Overall a good well hopped beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
2014-08-14. Crisp dark orange body with a modest off white head and light lace. 3+ Aroma is surprisingly biscuity with toasty pale malt character, mild fruit and hops over top. Flavour is pleasantly bitter hops up front but has a very sweet malty core. Pale malt has biscuity bready notes. Moderately fruity, mango and tropical notes pretty sweet. 7+ Smooth medium bodied palate, soft carbonation. Decent, it is too sweet and malty for an IPA but sort of nice anyways. On tap at Blue Monk, Buffalo

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle, 0.65l, courtesy of Bongtribe. Clear pale golden color with large rocky white head, great lacing and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of mild grapefruit, flowers, resin hops and spicy hops. Taste starts with moderate sweet caramel and toasted malt, follows by fresh citric and hoppy acidity, while finish is medium hoppy with strong and long aftertaste. Full body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Excellent IPA, seems perfectly balanced to me, although quite aggresive in the beginning. Thanks to Bongtribe for sharing :)

Tap at CBC Brixton. Pours a dark, hazy amber with a white head. Aroma is sweet, with caramel, light rye bread and orange. Medium body, medium carbonation. Rye toast, light wood, tree sap, marmalade, pine, caramel... It's tasty, decent balance. A touch sweet for me.
