COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hop Riot IPA is our flagship beer. Brewed in the American IPA style with a definitive "Left Coast" attitude. We brew our IPA with an aggressive bitterning level which is complimented and balanced by a defined malt backbone. Our final signature is the dry hop step where fresh hops are immersed in the finished beer to provide the floral and citrus aromas of our IPA, a Hop Riot indeed.

Pot-pouri nose - quite delicate for a typical US IPA. A touch sweet, pretty standard in all the other ways - UCSC Tasting June 12

Tap at CBC Brixton. Pours a dark, hazy amber with a white head. Aroma is sweet, with caramel, light rye bread and orange. Medium body, medium carbonation. Rye toast, light wood, tree sap, marmalade, pine, caramel... It's tasty, decent balance. A touch sweet for me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap @Taphouse, Cph. Pours hazy dark golden with a small, staying, creamy off-white head. Aroma has grapefruit, apricot, peach, light caramel malts. Medium carbonation, fine dry and quite creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has good malty sweetness, a touch of red apple zest, caramel, good peach, papaya, pineapple. Lingering, solid bitterness. Nice.

Bottle. Pours a fairly hazy amber color with a large off white head on there. Nose is old grassy and earthy but without a lot of the nice fresh hop character I like in an IPA. Taste is a little sweet and malty, and also quite earthy. Not really all that good...

Bottle. Slightly hazy golden appearance. The aroma has notes of tropical fruits, lemon zest and hay. The taste is hay, grapefruit and pine accented by the rather high car carbonation. Nice west coast IPA.

Dense, creamy white, lasting white head, and a clear copper pour. Crisp, dry aroma: citrus, sweet tropical fruits and grassy hops. The taste balances grapefruit and herby, piney bitterness with some malty sweetness. Strong, bitter, astrigent (ie - gorgeous!) aftertaste. A grown-up, elegant, well-constructed West Coast IPA.

Draft. I don’t know about this. There was something off on the flavor. A strange sweetness and tang. Pine hops and stuff. Wasnt keen on it.
