COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hop Riot IPA is our flagship beer. Brewed in the American IPA style with a definitive "Left Coast" attitude. We brew our IPA with an aggressive bitterning level which is complimented and balanced by a defined malt backbone. Our final signature is the dry hop step where fresh hops are immersed in the finished beer to provide the floral and citrus aromas of our IPA, a Hop Riot indeed.

Draft at beer revolution. Slight haze orangey golden with flabby head. Tropical juicy fruit forward, slight piney dank, hint of butter, caramel, ice tea, pretty damn sweet smelling. Fruity citrus, on the flat side, ice tea, some soap...missing balance and overly sweet for me.

2014-08-14. Crisp dark orange body with a modest off white head and light lace. 3+ Aroma is surprisingly biscuity with toasty pale malt character, mild fruit and hops over top. Flavour is pleasantly bitter hops up front but has a very sweet malty core. Pale malt has biscuity bready notes. Moderately fruity, mango and tropical notes pretty sweet. 7+ Smooth medium bodied palate, soft carbonation. Decent, it is too sweet and malty for an IPA but sort of nice anyways. On tap at Blue Monk, Buffalo

Bottle, 0.65l, courtesy of Bongtribe. Clear pale golden color with large rocky white head, great lacing and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of mild grapefruit, flowers, resin hops and spicy hops. Taste starts with moderate sweet caramel and toasted malt, follows by fresh citric and hoppy acidity, while finish is medium hoppy with strong and long aftertaste. Full body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Excellent IPA, seems perfectly balanced to me, although quite aggresive in the beginning. Thanks to Bongtribe for sharing :)

Tap at CBC Brixton. Pours a dark, hazy amber with a white head. Aroma is sweet, with caramel, light rye bread and orange. Medium body, medium carbonation. Rye toast, light wood, tree sap, marmalade, pine, caramel... It's tasty, decent balance. A touch sweet for me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
