3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft at beer revolution. Slight haze orangey golden with flabby head. Tropical juicy fruit forward, slight piney dank, hint of butter, caramel, ice tea, pretty damn sweet smelling. Fruity citrus, on the flat side, ice tea, some soap...missing balance and overly sweet for me.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bronze-bodied with a thin head. Sharp pineapple nose sweetness with muted bitterness. The flavor has a decidedly more grapefruit-forward chord, that while strong, has a smooth, subdued bitterness. Solid.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
650ml bottle from Bierkompass
Pours orange with a smooth white head. Aroma of grassy hops, bready malts, earthy notes, hay, fruits and caramel. Taste is smooth, bready malty, crispy hoppy, grassy and fruity with notes of hay, herbs and pine. Finish is lingering bitter, crisp malty and slightly bready with grassy and herbal notes. Not your typical American IPA, but still quite good.

65 cl bottle @ home
Aroma is somewhat gluey and sweet with caramel, fruity hops and hints of hay. Flavour has glue, some fruits, caramel and biscuits. Also distant hayish notes. A bit too much on the glue side, but not bad still.

Clear copper color, small head. Resinous hops, exotic fruits and caramel malts, lots of pine needles also. Resinous hops on the taste, sweet caramel malts and fruits. Bitter fruity palate, sweet caramelous finish. Actually excellently balanced and tasty.

650 ml bottle.
Pours a copper colour with a strong lacy head. Aroma is very herbal and hoppy with lychee, biscuit and weed. Flavour of strong herbal hoppiness, weed, some caramel sweetness, exotic fruitiness and biscuit. Full bodied, thick mouthfeel and a dry, herbal bitter, mildly sweet finish. I really love the bitterness here. Lovely.

Bu en bouteille de 50cl, une couleur jaune et trouble avec une belle mousse intense, au nez il y a une attaque sur les agrumes, ensuite en bouche explosion de saveur, litchi banane passion et ça se termine sur la réglisse un délice

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Perfect looks! Hazy, pale amber body with an orange tint, and on top there is a large, creamy, dense, white head that stays finger-thick for a long time, excellent lacing. Strong and crisp aroma with tropical fruits (mostly peach) and citrus, plus a light malty touch. Strong hoppy flavours with tropical fruits, citrus, pine and caramel. Light to moderate sweet taste with a lovely long-lasting, quite dry and heavy bitter finish. Crisp, refreshing and more-ish mouthfeel, it’s full-bodied and has a smooth texture and moderate carbonation. Lovely IPA!

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
0.65l bottle. This is a light cloudy kinda golden looking one with a small almost bubbly and only light lacing off-white head. On the nose it’s mildly hoppy and almost a bit tea like. I get traces of something generic herbal and a little bit of hay. Not to spectacular really, but fair. It has a light oily, almost a little thin mouthfeel and a soft + carbonation level. That tea like hoppiness continues in the taste as well. Grassy bitter, quite a lot. Feels like it’s lacking some malt sweetness to balance all that grassiness. A little melon zesty bitterness on the light mouthdrying finish and aftertaste. Must admit that I had hoped for a bit more. Fair is a good word to sum this one up, but most likely it’s just a bit lesser fresh than it is intended to be. Is this my first beer from High Water? That’s strange as I feel like it always seeing these bottles. 06.11.2013
