Phone rate. 22oz bottle, no date from Best Damn Beer Shop @ $6.99. Clear medium orange with a two finger creamy light beige head, pretty good retention. Big tropical fruit and citrus up front with some berry notes (Nelson?) and light caramel, as well as some grassy notes. Flavor continues with the tropical berry notes with enough caramel sweetness to keep a nice balance most of the way through. Bone dry finish with bitterness peaking at at least a 7. Light to medium body with light carbonation. Tasty. This beer reminds me of something pretty strongly, but I can’t put a finger on it.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Thanks to ryan! Slightly cloudy amber pour with a good sized frothy head. Nose holds lots of garlic and onion, along with freshly cut grass and citrus. The flavor brings hemlock, cedar, and perfume into the equation, though more subdued than the nose. Medium to high bitterness for a non-imperial IPA. Good.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a fairly clear golden orange color with a finger of white head. Initially a solid aroma of grapefruit and floral hops. Becomes sort of grassy at it sits, though. Similar story on the palate. Up front, a good grapefruit, pine, and floral hop bite, but dies down to just sort of grassy and a citric acidity. Medium body and carbonation.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
651mL thanks to ryan. Pours a deeper orange with a medium white head leaving sticky swathes of lace. Nose is a bit cheesy, sweet onion heavy, just barely past its prime nose wise. Lots of sugary strawberry drops. Taste is hop forward, onion, pine needles, and butterscotch slickness. Perfumey orange. Quenching, lighter mouthfeel. Nice nutty bitterness. Very aggressive alpha acid bitterness. Not bad.
