sm89walt (168), Norwich and Canterbury, Norfolk, England Jan 21, 2008 Cask - Wetherspoons, Canterbury. A light copper colour with a decent-sized white head. Fairly unremarkable citric hop aromas. Full of sour fruits that never really come together particularly well. An ok but forgettable bitter finish. Reasonably quaffable, but nothing one would write home about.
Magic_dave6 (3536), London, England Feb 10, 2008 Cask in Counting House. Aroma is spicey rich malts with grassy hop but something doesnt suit it. Taste is similar slight iodine note, not sure what the annoyingness is here but its annoying. Mes_and_Sim (3967), London, Greater London, England Jan 13, 2008 A Mes rate: Cask at Baker Street ’Sporks. Blonde with a slim white head. Bland hoppy aroma with a bit of alcohol. Very citric flavour with a bit of paint stripper from the alcohol. Strong lemon on the finish. Not great and probably on its way out. hughie (2059), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England Jan 7, 2008 Cask at ’Spoons, Milton Keynes. Gold with a small white head.
