Commercial Description:
Pasterised bottle.
Named after the foxes that used to live within the brewery grounds, Nob being the Old English for head. A copper coloured beer brewed using pale, crystal and black malt with a small amount of high maltose syrup. Progress, Fuggle and Golding hops provide the bitterness and each cask is generously dry hopped at rack using Styrian Golding.
Tasting notes: An exquisite floral nose with citrus notes is the prelude to a rich palate of malt and fruit and a long dry bitter finish. Fox’s Nob is also available in 500ml bottle and because no isinglass is used in production, is a beer suitable for vegetarians.

Orange, scummy head. Slightly wet sheep aroma, a little mushroomy. Touch of caramel, hint of mushroom - simple and watery bitter. Quite inoffensive, but a bit bland, and falls short in most directions.

Bottled, thanks oh6gdx! Hazy bright amber, minimal head. Appley nose with some caramel. Sweet and light bodied. Fruity and somewhat sulphury. Vey fruity and apple and quite bland. With low hop rate, dull malt profile and cidery notes there is not much to enjoy in this beer.

500 ml bottle. Amber color, white head. Sweet malts with a bitter finish, some notes of lemon peel. Not spectacular, but not awful either.

Bottled. Amberish coppery colour with mediumsized creamy head. Leaves a lot of lace. Aroma is caramel malts, some nuts and also slight cooked vegetables and wood. Flavour is nutty, flowery hoppy as well as slightly wooden. Some mild fruityness bears the bitterness up a bit. Quite different and a part of me hates it while another part finds it quite interesting.
