2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 imdownthepub (7494) - Banbury, - MAY 14, 2011
Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Gold with no head. Malty, tartish with a perfumed, flowery flavour. It dominates the palate. Not the most pleasant of beers.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 niquillis (428) - Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - JUN 19, 2011
On cask at JDW Stone. A very bitter start, butterscotch, low carbonation. Pour golden, hardly any head. Average.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 DruncanVeasey (5150) - NUNEATON, Blue Square Prem, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - MAY 26, 2011
Cask at The Baron. Still gold, chunky white lid. Slight varnished pine aroma. Lean pine and lemoniness, spiced apple hints, some almond and husky malt linger with a back of the throat, crunched paracetamol bitterness. Stale nuts in a leaky tupperware container. A half is plenty. Not what I expected from Highgate.

Cask at the Penzance Weatherspoons. Sort of mixed fruit aroma. Flavor is some caramel and fruit. Very pleasant. Reasonably bitter.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 sm89walt (1419) - Norwich, Norfolk, ENGLAND - MAY 9, 2011
Cask - The Bell Hotel (JDW), Norwich. Small, lasting white head, slight haze to a copper body. Overall buttery profile. More citrus notes take over the butter on the tongue with some vinegar-esque sour bite. Medium length citrus hop end. Light to medium, body, a bit rough on the palate. Pretty poor condition to be fair.
