Cask in the market porter as Davenport’s - Heatwave. Alround rating: Pale and caramel malts, some grassy floral hop, bit of lemon coming in later. Alright.

Cask at the Babington Arms (JDW), Derby. Amber with a thick white head; fruity aroma; smooth nitro-keg style mouth feel; sweet and fruity with a slightly sour cherry finish.

A Sim rate (at the Junction BF): Hoppy and citric aroma. Similar flavour. Very watery. Bitter finish. Definitely not great.

Cask at Wellington Arms, Bedford. Amber. Buttery malt aroma. Fruity pear taste with sourness and some malt, pleasantly rounded. Some bitterness. Good.
