COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed as a tribute to those beers shipped by the East India Company which relied on the preservative qualities of the hop to survive the arduous journeys. Pale, crystal and amber malts are used to balance in part, the intense bitterness provided by generous quantities of Fuggle and Golding hops. Tasting notes. A real Brewers beer, with masses of hop character on the nose, palate and after-palate. This copper coloured ale has malt and fruit notes on the palate, with an inevitable dry finish, due in the main to the addition of four ounces of dry hops per barrel before the beer leaves the brewery
