Kentucky Fried Charleston Trip Beer #96. Draft at Brewvival. Pours a hazy golden color with a thin white head. Fair head retention. Aroma of bready malt, lactic tartness, stone fruits, clay, herbal hops. The taste is doughy malts, mild tart fruits. Mild lingering tartness. Medium bodied.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap at RRBF. Pours pale straw with a small fizzy white head. Nose shows some light tartness, hay, a bit of funk, lemon. Flavor is similar—could use a bit more tartness/acidity on the palate, but overall I was slightly impressed with this offering from Highland.
