Bottle. Blackish brown pour, creamy dark tan head, wet lacing. High alcohol in the nose, some roast, dark fruit. Some coffee flavors, roast, dry maltyness, some lactose. Smooth, well-carbonated, slightly fizzy.

Bottle. Coffee and malt aroma, some sweetness, some chocolate. Black body, thin brown head. Tasty rich flavor of malt, coffee, moderate sweetness, and roastedness. A nice touch of bitterness in the finish. Very nice.

12oz bottle courtesy of BrewerB, thanks! nice dark black color which is to be expected with a coffee brown head. Smells roasty and tastes like a roasty stout although I don’t taste any mocha or chocolate. Far too easy to drink given the robust flavor and low alcohol, my pint glass was finished in about fifteen minutes. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 01-26-2009 00:38:52

A nice dark pour good flavor, but don’t really know where the mocha was its a little disappointing in that since. Besides that it was a nice little stout.

12oz bottle. Pours a brown head with a dark brown body. Smells of roast, burnt sugar, and a hops. Sticky sweet with heavy toast, slight smoke, and pine bitterness. I enjoyed the hops in this quite a bit.

The aroma is sweet and heavily toasted with chocolate, coffee, molasses, and hops. The alcohol is very much present and more than I was expecting for a beer with only 5.3. The appearance is black with a tan head that develops quite nicely. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is average for the style. Overall a nice stout but not a great stout, I dont like the bitter, acidic finish.

[1777-20081014] 12floz bottle. Roasted malt and figgy fruit aroma with mild sweet floral perfume and wet wood hints. Dark brown black body with a medium-lasting foamy tan head. Slightly smoky dark roasted malt flavour has lots of roasty mocha. Full body. NIce mocha characteristics.
