4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
This was a great Stout. It was very dark and strong taste. The best thing about it was it went down smooth. I had it on tap at Barley’s above the Brewery. It had a nice chocolate taste to it as well. Highly recommend!!!

DuckRabbit gets all the credit for good stouts in North Carolina, but this one is up there with the best of ’em. If you like a nice coffee presence in the flavor of your dark beers, this may be a fast favorite.
I don’t drink dark beers much outside the wintertime, but this one is a favorite.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Rcvd in trade.
The appearance has a dark black body with an off-white colored one finger head and minimal lacing.
The smell has some roasted sweet malt and light coffee.
The taste is roasty and sweet through previously mentioned flavors, with a slightly woody, dry aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, she sits about a medium, shows a nice sessionable quality to it and has some adequate carbonation.
Overall, I would have this one again.
