Highland’s most robust beer, having a very malty body with a large, roasted chocolate flavor. It is black in color with a very clean finish and a moderate hop flavor.

Mild coffee aroma with a hint of cream within. Flavor is a smooth caramel with a roasted coffee finish. Just a little bit too dry, otherwise perfect.

Highland Black Mocha Stout is not an in-your-face stout, but it is still enjoyable as a sessionable brew. Moderate malt aroma rising from a requisite dark pout with a nice tan head that stays well. Taste is malty with coffee and chocolate notes but not overwhelming with a clean finish. Black Mocha is definitely a nice everyday brew.

Bottle, Whole Foods Orlando. Rich mahogany colour with a deep tan head. Chocolate and roast malt aroma, earthy flavours, pleasantly dry with light metallic notes, then finishes with some tasty blackcurrant.

It pours black with a bit a light that gets through when held up to the light. The head is brown with lacing. It has aromas of chocolate, roasted malts, and maybe a hint of cinnamon or brown sugar. It has smoked flavors with chocolate.

Aroma I dark roast coffee and a bit of tobacco come wafting from the black liquid, the head is a soft khaki color floating atop. The flavor is a perfect example of the taste, but with dark fruits added for good measure...perhaps some overripe blackberries. The taste is lightly bitter, an umami with an edge. A good finish, short and not invasive at all. I’d definitely drink this again if someone were to offer it up!

Poured from the bottle at home. Pours a dark brown. Aroma is that of milk chocolate, coffee, Taste is great, milk chocolate, mocha, nice malts, faint dark fruit notes. Very smooth and creamy. Great Stout!

A decent Stout. Pours nice and black. Aroma was coffee and malts. Head was practically non existent. Flavor matched the smell, coffee and chocolate with almost no hops coming through at all. Enjoyable and I would buy this again.

Pours black with a slight brown head. Nose is coffee and cream with a nice burst of roasted barley and a touch of sweetness. Flavor, while not offering anything unusual for a sweeter stout, is rich and well-balanced and is surprisingly big for the relatively low gravity. Finished smooth and full of coffee. Above-average stout.

Bottle at home, thanks to Brad! Pours black, little head. Aroma is thick milk chocolate and espresso. Taste is chocolate, light berries, faint coffee. Lots of flavor in a low abv beer. Thin body, high carbonation. Good beer!
