barleyPops (1066), Quad-Cities, Illinois, USA Sep 29, 2008 12 oz. bottle from OldGrowth, thanks Tom. no floaties, but the pour is a very cloudy pale yellow with a very short-lived white head, almost no lacing. floral, spicy aroma of clove, flowers and just a hint of banana. nothing spectacular going on with the flavor, yet this is very drinkable. a light & refreshing wheat.
Butters (572), Temporarily in Nashville, Tennessee, USA Nov 28, 2008 TN tasting at maniac’s. Pours a only slightly hazy yellow with fair white big bubble head. Aroma is sweet wheat with hardly any citrus. Flavor is stale hops and a little bitterness in the finish. Didn’t actually care for this, maybe it’s the rye. I guess I just hate rye.... lithy (385), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Nov 17, 2008 On tap at Barleys. Cloudy yellow orange thin creamy white head. Wehaty aroma, some slight citrus.
