Pours a beautiful auburn-brown with a white head that lingers as a small lacing. The aroma is gentle malt with a hint of fresh hops. Clean & inviting the first taste. First sip...Wow!
An amazing explosion of vanilla, fruitiness, possibly cinnamon and other fruity flavors. Very drinkable!
Finishes lingering vanilla and nutty.
Do a quich swish and pick up an interesting taste of vanilla complimented with toasty-Brady malts, hazelnut and an interesting fruit background. Taste Cold Mountain with a Rogue Hazelnut Brown Nector.!

3.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: FEB 22, 2014 2012 version. Pours a beautiful, clear mahogany color, with a short-lived beige head. Lacing is good nonetheless. The beer is mildly spicy and a bit fruity, including raspberry and a surprising apricot note in the nose that’s present but subdued in tasting. Cinnamon and plenty of vanilla in both; perhaps too much vanilla in the flavor.
O: A fine winter warmer mis-classified as a "fruit/herb/vegetable" beer.

Bomber----->nonic. Pours a clear light brown with a small, thick white head and pretty good lacing. Aroma is roasted malt and cinnamon. Flavor has roasted malt, cocoa, and slight spice. Decent creamy palate with a tad bit of carbonation. Nice winter beer that I will definitely revisit.

Draught. Pours a clear amber color with a smallish tan head. I get almost no nose off this. Taste is malty and interesting, with a bit of caramel in there. Pleasant bite to this beer.

UPDATED: FEB 2, 2013 Poured from a 12 oz bottle. Amber/brown color. Small off-white head. Doesn’t last long. Aroma of malt, spices, maybe some bread. The taste is good: malty, spicy, some hops, maybe some nuttiness. Has a good balance.

Caramel and vanilla aroma. Vanilla flavor. Great clarity but head disappears quickly. Full palate but not a big fan of the oaklike aftertaste.

Bomber from kinz. Pours clear copper with an off-white head. Aromas of vanilla, toffee, nuts, dark rich malts. Flavors of sweet malts, vanilla, toffee, caramel, some bread, and faint hops. Nicely balanced, mouthfeel is a little thin.

A: Pours a barely transparent mahogany color with a small off-white head
S: Awesome caramel malts, nuts, toffee, light spices (no clove), a little bread, lactose, and powdered milk chocolate
T: Finally a winter warmer with a great flavor profile that’s not overdone. The spices blend very well with the malts. Also lactose, toffee, and a really delicious chocolate/cocoa note that compliments the nuttiness
MF/D: Smooth velvety feel, lower carbonation, lighter in body than the others, and a finish of lactose, cocoa, and hazelnut
Notes: not the biggest or boldest, but perfectly balanced and not too spiced up
