Thanks again, Harold. Nose is big citrus, fruity hops, with some malt and pine. Pour is amber/orange colored. Taste is mainly citrus and caramel malts. Not bad.

This IPA wasnít all that bad, the only complain is how malt-forward it was. The aroma revealed sweet hops and light caramel, but it tasted much more like toffee and honey with a bitter hop presence. To itís credit, for an IPA, it was very session-able.

2/15/13. 12oz bottle from Grassroots. Clear red pour with a small tan head that fades and laces a ton. Light dank hops with a touch of pine. Nice hoppy flavor with lots of pine, touches of citrus and dankness, and some caramel in there. Nice and easy drinking.

Hazy copper orange pour with off white pour. Grassy hop aroma but not very strong. Not much flavor up front but finishes very grassy and dry. Thin mouth feel. Iím never really impressed with highland and this only strengthens my feelings.

Highlandís brews hold a special place for me and Iím always down for a new one and just the fact itís called the devilís britches, I had to try it. Tastes like a very hoppy amber with a funky aroma, but still is very drinkable. Not much of an IPA but more of a hopped up amber, but nonetheless a decent offering

Draft at Proof. Slightly hazy amber pour with a large creamy white head. Piney and floral hop aroma with nutty caramel malts backing it. Initial musty, piney hop flavor with lighter sweetness fading into lingering bitterness. Not terrible, just standard.
