2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle in NYC. Pours clear, deep copper with a moderate, foamy white head. Hmm, the beer seems to have some odd off-flavors. There’s some bread, musty wood, dried caramel, herbal pine. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Dry, earthy, piney and herbal bitterness on the finish, low sweetness, more musty wood, basement. Pretty poor.

Draft sample. Poured a clear dark copper color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate complex citrus and earthy aroma. Medium to abundant body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. My expectations where met.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Taster on tap at Barley’s during RBWG. Clear orange red color. Thin khaki head. Good thicker lace. Medium to bigger body. Smooth, lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Bigger moderate bitter taste, kind of zesty, minimal sweet. Good grapefruit citrus hop, caramel malt, some biscuity malt. Very nice resiny, citrusy IPA. A step up from Kashmir, I think.
