COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An aggressively hopped and higher gravity version of our Kashmir IPA. Five different hop varieties added at seven different times in the brew kettle, hopback, whirlpool and fermenter add to its complexity. This Imperial IPA also differs from our traditional Kashmir IPA with the addition of over fifty pounds of dry hops, adding a spicy nose. Over two hundred pounds of hops were used in this limited fifty barrel batch. The robust, malty and complex hop flavors and aromas are best enjoyed with an extremely stiff upper lip.

Bomber from Whole Foods Market Fair Lakes/Fairfax, VA. Pours a clear golden color with a medium sized frothy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of citrus, tropical and floral hops with caramel malts. The taste is caramel malts, resin, citrus and candied citrus hop notes. Medium bodied, well balanced. Very nice.

Bottle... Murky amber ale with a mid-sized, fizzy, white head. Great, small, tight retention. The nose offers notes of ethanol, earthy hops and fuzzy fruit. The flavor is all caramel malt, alcohol and violently bitter hops. Full-bodied and astringent with fizzy carbonation. Dry, bitter finish. Cheers to mgumby10 for sharing the bottle!

22oz bottle acquired in trade with DragonStout (thanks!). Poured a deeper and muddy amberish color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of earthiness, pine, tropical fruits, and spicey. Tastes of pine, spices, caramel, and citrus.

22 oz. bottle, sent from Daniel719 (thanks a lot, man), pours a clear orange with a small white head. Aroma isnít the strongest, with resinous hops, candied caramel malt, and some residual sugars. Flavour is quite sweet and boozy, with loads of candied caramel malt, resinous hops, and alcohol. The alcohol is surprisingly not well-worked in. There is quite a lot of residual sugar as well, which overtake the hop profile. Decent but flawed IIPA.

With great appreciation to Mike from Coleís for sharing his bomber. Soapy head. Yeast and complex meld of five hops, including dry hops. Really stands out as interesting taste, this is not a hop bombing. Thanks Swoop Jones and to your sis for bringing back.

Bottle shared at Yesprís. It pours clear golden-amber with a small white head. The nose is bitter-sweet, oily, doughy, honeycomb, stewed oranges, pepper and sherbet. The taste is rich, bitter-sweet, boozy, peppery, stewed oranges, grapefruit, good bitterness, resin and wood with a dry, warming finish. Medium+body and average carbonation. A bit hot, but tasty enough.

Shared by goldtwins, mucho gusto. Pale amber. Aroma is very floral and fragrant with an earthy/dusty note as well. Noble/spicy hops, fruity, leathery and alcoholic. Really a strange combination of characteristics. Flavour is quite floral. Balance seems to be all out of whack. Strong peppery alcoholic flavour. Iím in the minority, but this didnít really do it for me.

22oz bottle, from my local Kroger, Iím pretty sure. Either that or my local Whole Foods... Enjoyed from a shaker pint. Mostly clear amber orange color. Thin off-white head. Leaves good bits of lace. Lots of particles in the body make it kind of hazy. Bigger body. Smooth, lighter carbonation. Pretty easy drinking. Moderate to bigger bitter, light sweet. Alcohol is very well hidden. Grapefruit, pine, light caramel malts. Tasty, impressively easy drinking stuff. It made for a great party beer.
