3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Shared by goldtwins, mucho gusto. Pale amber. Aroma is very floral and fragrant with an earthy/dusty note as well. Noble/spicy hops, fruity, leathery and alcoholic. Really a strange combination of characteristics. Flavour is quite floral. Balance seems to be all out of whack. Strong peppery alcoholic flavour. Iím in the minority, but this didnít really do it for me.

3.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours light golden amber with a thick white head. Aroma is faint syrup and very "pilsner-ish". Taste is a nice blend of pine and grainy malts. For a DIPA, this one is pleasant and not too heavy.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
22 oz. bottle, sent from Daniel719 (thanks a lot, man), pours a clear orange with a small white head. Aroma isnít the strongest, with resinous hops, candied caramel malt, and some residual sugars. Flavour is quite sweet and boozy, with loads of candied caramel malt, resinous hops, and alcohol. The alcohol is surprisingly not well-worked in. There is quite a lot of residual sugar as well, which overtake the hop profile. Decent but flawed IIPA.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a pretty clear amber with a thick and fluffy pale buff head that leaves some good lacing. Strongly hoppy aroma has mostly evergreen and resin, with an undertone of Mandarin orange. Bold, hoppy flavor assaults the palate with resiny, rather bitter hops and sour orange plus a touch of honey. Firm, smooth texture is fairly fizzy and leaves a hoppy and slightly sweet finish. A hundred kilos of hops? Sure shows!

2.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Sometimes the focus is so much on one aspect that the beer is out of balance. The pour was nice, a bright yellow color with a good head. Aroma was strongly hoppy: citrus and piney. Taste had little malt character to balance out the strong hop flavors which hit the tongue pretty quick. strong pine, resinous flavor which overwhelmed the taste buds. Medium bodied and fairly well carbonated, the finish was a lingering resiny, spicy taste which hung around in the mouth and built up sip after sip.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
22 oz for 9 bucks. Pours a hazy gold with a white head. Smells like fruits with some hops and a slight spicy undertone. Tastes nothing like the standard Kashmir. Much more balanced. Piney flavor and malts take over with little lasting bitterness. Slightly thicker and creamier than your average IPA. Highland should mass-produce this beer instead of the other IPAs they offer. A very drinkable Imperial IPA.

22oz bottle pours a clear orange with some lacing, creamy, white head. Aroma has a ton of pine and soap, some grapefruit peel, some candy, a little bit of perfume, some honey. Flavor has a lot of booze, pine sol, pine sap, honey, orange rind, grapefruit rind, candy, a little bit of pineapple. Full, sticky finish.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Bruisin Ales. Pours light orange. Itís pretty clear. A bit floral on the nose. Kind of sweet on the tongue. A bit of hop bitterness on the finish. Itís pretty drinkable for an IPA I donít think quaffable is the main attribute people are looking for in this style.
