Bottle from Coppers, Newcastle. Pale golden coloured with citrus and pine flavours followed by bitter grapefruit on the finish. Excellent for a low ABV beer.

Light amber, fruity and hoppy nose. Lots of frothy lace. Sweetish front, then a moderate, fruity hoppiness, then a bit if crystal malt chewiness lingering in the finish.

Scopey 5K Tasting in deepest Croydonia. Ta to Paul. Clear gold beer, small bubbly white head. Light palate, semi dry. Modest carbonation. Light dry pale malt. Reasonable citric peel bitterness, lemon and grapefruit. Light.semi dry finish. Not bad.

Bottle split at Scopey’s 5K Extravaganza of Oompah Band meets doorbell music, thanks to Don Paulo - 15/02/14. Clear pale golden with a moderate off white head that takes the edgeward highway. Nose is mandarin, peach, earthy light hoppings, grassy, citric sherbets. Taste comprises orange pithdom, mandarin, apricot jam, straw, bread dough. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying closure. Nice GB affair.

Bottle shared at Scopey’s 5000th rate. Bottle cheers to Paul. Clear amber with a small white head. Nose is full of balanced biscuit and sweet lemon. Taste is more or less the same but has a nice spicy touch on the finish. A touch thin but as expected for the ABV. Decent

UPDATED: FEB 17, 2014 Bottle at home. It pours clear amber with a small white head. The nose is earth, hay, grain, farmhouse loaf and toast. The taste is doughy, grain, orange peel, grapefruit, toast, grain, light soap and earth with a dry, finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Well rounded and rather drinkable. A tasty golden.

Cask conditioned at The Grapes, Oxford. Gold with white head. There is a light, malty body to this with a hint of porridge oats, this carries a drying hop flavour of grapefruit and citrus, nicely refreshing and very drinkable. Good stuff.

Bright yellow pour, not too much head. Tropical fruits and bubblegum on the nose with a hint of spice. Smooth, crisp malt character leaves flora, fruity hops to come thru. Pleasantly bitter, grassy finish.

Pours Yellow/gold. Berries on the nose, grapefruit and mixed fruits marmalade on the palate, a hoppy finish but there was something for me that was not quite right about it.

Pale yellow coloured beer with a weak white head. Light hoppy aroma and citrusy. Dry mouthfeel. Bitter hop flavour, loads of citrus fruit and grassy. The finish is bitter and hoppy. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
