Bottle at Helgi´s, Kirkwall. Pours clear golden with a small white head. Aroma is good hoppy, grassy and citrussy, some peach as well. Taste is light sweet malty, crystal and marmelade, bready malt, nice dry finish.

Cask (Crown Posada, Newcastle) - Golden with a white head. Peach, apricot, toffee and a hint of grapefruit in the aroma. Grapefruit, peach and biscuity malt can be detected in the taste. Refreshing and enjoyable.

(draught) pours a clear golden colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of straw, raisins and bread dough, with a hint of floral hops and yeast. flavour is earth, peaches, more pale malts and floral hops, with a hint of mango and a light-bitter finish. medium-bodied with soft carbonation.

UPDATED: MAY 19, 2014 Clear and pale golden. Aroma of grape fruit, pine shoots and grass. Similar taste, with a hint of liquorice, particularly in aftertaste. Refreshing with good drinkability. Re-drunk as cask ale at Stromness Hotel 18.05.14. Slightly hazy, no hint of liquorice. Good lacing.

Light amber, fruity and hoppy nose. Lots of frothy lace. Sweetish front, then a moderate, fruity hoppiness, then a bit if crystal malt chewiness lingering in the finish.

Scopey 5K Tasting in deepest Croydonia. Ta to Paul. Clear gold beer, small bubbly white head. Light palate, semi dry. Modest carbonation. Light dry pale malt. Reasonable citric peel bitterness, lemon and grapefruit. Light.semi dry finish. Not bad.

Bottle split at Scopey’s 5K Extravaganza of Oompah Band meets doorbell music, thanks to Don Paulo - 15/02/14. Clear pale golden with a moderate off white head that takes the edgeward highway. Nose is mandarin, peach, earthy light hoppings, grassy, citric sherbets. Taste comprises orange pithdom, mandarin, apricot jam, straw, bread dough. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying closure. Nice GB affair.
