Had on tap. Arrived a clear medium gold with a small head. Pretty good lacing. About the only smell I could detect was citrusy hops notably orange and grapefruit. Strong hop bitterness takes hold from the first sip with citrus hop flavors being predominate. there is some light bready grain towards the finish but hops take center stage. Overall a middle of the road IPA. One I would have again but not necessarily seek out.

Draft. Pours gold with a white head. Flowery hoppy aroma with some lighter piney notes. The flavor has light citric hops, some floral notes, and a light malty sweetness. Not bad.

A decent beer from a decent brewery. After going to a Total Wine in Miami I realized I had tried just about they had sans for imports. So I grabbed some different brews and gave this hot pink feller a try. Beer pours a hazy golden orange color with little lacing. Taste of citrus hops with a slightly bitter edge rise from a medium to light body. Not a great IPA but passable.

I love this company. This IPA is very drinkable. I do prefer my IPAs to have more hop profile, but this is a good standard IPA. It may even be a good intro into the world of hops for those new to better tasting beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Clear, hazy yellow. Medium head/lace. Bitter up front and bitter finish. Thin body & palate. $1.79/12 oz @ Total Wine & More.

I was expecting something a little better from Highland. Alas, it was not to be. Pours, and looks, like a lager. The stark white, frothy head was an instant giveaway. Light gold color and superclarified. Fresh cut grass and wet hay aromas....a little skunky. Light floral notes muddled with lemon zest. No malt to speak of. The body light to medium and the palate is watery and thin. Finishes with a lingering bitterness. Pass.

Perfectly on style, rude and nasty. Bottle. When I opened this, it made a fuming aroma spread all across the room. No head. Dull IPA but it looks like a pale lager. As expected, ther is a roto-tiller plowing in a place someplace in my mouth. What else can be said? Finish is a little more creamy than most ipa.

Copper golden with a small white bubbly lace. Nose is fairly malty, but balanced with some herbal hops. Flavor is a little overpowering and different than I remember this beer being in the past. Very boozy and anstringent.
