2.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 pineypower (1816) - Pine Barrens, New Jersey, USA - SEP 5, 2011
Fresh bottle picked up in North Carolina. Pours a well carbonated moderate orange color. Aroma is of odd grains, vegetables and maybe some light citrus hops. Taste thankfully is better than the aroma, some light citrus hops, malt, really not much else to say, rather bland IPA.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 BlackWarrior (142) - Spartanburg, South Carolina, USA - AUG 13, 2011
Pours slight orange, golden color with a good fluffy white head that leave nice lacing. Full, but short-lived piney aroma along with some cereal malts. It starts off w/ a biscuity malt sweetness and then comes in with a quick punch of pine/citrus hops that mellow again on the finish. On the malty side for an IPA, but still well rounded and refreshing. I like it.

Ok beer. This IPA has a light piney hop taste not enough for it to have much bitterness. More of a sweet malt taste.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Nate (3093) - Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 21, 2011
From bottle. Nice hop aroma, spicy and herbal - fairly fresh. Light sweet pale malt notes and a neutral fruity character. Hint of sulfur and a bit of peach. Medium golden amber clear with a bit of haze, topped with thin lacing head. Medium watery body with medium-high carbonation. Starts with light sweet pale malt, mild fruity character and a good bit of grassy-herbal hops. Mild to medium bitterness from start to finish with bitter herbal and slightly chalky bitter after.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Westmeister (590) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - JUN 6, 2011
Bottle. Pours a clear gold with a tanish head and little to no retention. The aroma is light with a bit of barley any very little hop pressence. The flavor has a light sweet malt with a light citrusy pine. This wasn’t a bad beer, but didn’t have the tastes of a normal IPA -- no real hop presence as it was dominated by the malts.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Reynolds314 (790) - Connecticut, USA - JUN 5, 2011
This one is mediocre at best. One of the ugliest beers Ive ever seen. Looks like murky apple cider with no head. Aroma is more of a traditional ale then an IPA. Malty caramel nose. Taste is a bit bitter and the booze actually comes through at a low 5.6%. No real hop flavor to be had. Kind of bad.
2.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Ernesto987 (1514) - Connecticut, USA - JUN 5, 2011
aroma is more malts than hops. There is bitterness in the but no real hop flavor. Did they forget to add hops at the end of the boil? Swing and a miss. This beer makes me want to ask chicks when are they due.

(12 oz bottle, courtesy of Cavie) Pours a clear yellow body with a small white head. Aroma of grass, caramel, florals, and citrus. Flavor of caramel malt, grass, orange peel, and minerals with a watery mouthfeel.

Bottle courtesy drowland. Pours a clear golden yellow color with a white ring of head. Aroma is fresh fruit, light bread and easy hops. The hops have kinda faded. Flavor is pretty bitter. Dry grains. Not that great
