Bottle into shaker. Pours a dense thick white head and leaves dense lace. Transparent golden amber color. Not much aroma, but what is there is light floral notes and earthy hops. Flavor is bland as well with light honey and hops. Flat upfront with lingering light bitter finish. Overall just meh.

UPDATED: NOV 9, 2014 Bottle: Thanks, Jeff! Hazed golden, yellow body with a soapy white head that recedes quickly. Aroma is muted grassy, weedy, vegetal notes with light perfume. Taste is quietly bitter leaves & slightly oily hops with a mild perfume & soapy character that isn’t all too pleasing. Light cracker malt, dry finish. Faint orange & a slight rubbery aftertaste. Not great.

From 12 ounce bottle bought as part of a mix six pack from Whole Foods in Brentwood (suburban Nashville) Tennessee. Slightly hazy gold hue with slight amber tint, small white head that mostly lasted with good lacing, moderate bittersweet nose with an unpleasant smell in the backround, moderate to strong bittersweet with initial citrus burst followed by hops and then a sugary finish--aftertaste not all that good. Good IPA but recipe could stand a little tweaking.

Poured from bottle. Nice hop, malt, ocean aroma. Almost clear gold with lacing head. I taste citrus and floral hops with a bit of sweetness and a malt back. Banana and pepper notes as well. Hops are not overpowering. Decent - a good "go to" choice.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a slight tinge of orange. Smell is orange pineapple, piney hops. Taste is a little sweet, caramel, pine, citrus in the middle and medium bitterness in the finish. Not great meets all the single IPA criteria. Also seems to be very sessionable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From a bottle. The pour is pale in color with a frothy white head yet the pine and citrus notes I am getting go well togethor.Fluffy texture

Darker orange pour and bright clear. nose is some citrusy and lightly floral and grassy hops. with some bready but not really caramelly malts. Flavor is similar but lacking in overally hop qualities. The malt body is good and seems like it could make a good ipa but is far from a good hoppy beer.

A bit light for an IPA, balanced malt and hops with a bit buttery of a feel. Lingering finish that is lacking in punch.
