12 oz bottle served in a pint glass. Pours bright golden with medium lacy white head. Aroma is dry biscuity malt with light hops on the back. Taste is crisp dry light caramel malt with sharp hop notes of grass and spice. Light bitterness which lingers. Light on the hops overall. Pleasant IPA, definitely English in style.

Another fine offering from the Highland lineup. This English style IPA features a pleasant and drinkable complexity of earthy and floral hoppiness, along with a sweet bready maltiness. Citrusy and honey on the nose, light orange color and proportionate white head on the pour. Bitterness is not overbearing and is mild relative to most American IPAs, but still fits the flavor profile. Smooth and fresh, I haven't had a Highland beer I haven't enjoyed!

Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a nice looking golden orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. Light lacing strung its way around the glass once the head dissipated. The smell had a nice glaze of bittersweet orange and orange peel. A nice amount of lemon sweet and bitter lemon peel come in as well. Light caramel came in to balance. The taste took those previously mentioned flavors and balanced nicely. A light caramel to sweet citrus balances in the aftertaste. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionable quality about it. The carbonation was there and as an AIPA this one definitely gives off itís bitterness against my tongue. Overall, pretty good AIPA that I would come back to if I could find it.

Slight hop aroma that is distinct yet doesnít over power. Golden colored perfection with a slight cloudy appearance. Carbonation of this beer is visible in the bubbles that continuously float to the top. Smooth hop finish that is balanced with an almost "fruity" after taste. Great local IPA that is a shining example of the North Carolina brew movement!

Bottle. Pours a golden color with white head. Grassy, earthy, bitter, bread aromas. Hoppy, grassy, bitter, green hop aromas. A pretty solid, drinkable IPA.

Golden color with a fluffy white head. Raw hop pellet nose. Crisp cracker and coarse bread maltiness followed by a strong grapefruit rind hop presence. Very nice traditional IPA.

Highland Kashmir IPA has a thin-to-medium, off-white head, a mostly clear, gold-orange appearance, some residual lacing, lots of bubbles, and noticeable lace left on the glass. The aroma is faint, but one can pick up some apricot and sweet malt. Taste is of sweet bread, apricot, and mellow bitterness. Mouthfeel is light to medium, and Highland Kashmir IPA finishes semi-dry and refreshing. RJT
