A hazy orange beer with a thick beige head. The aroma is lightly hoppy combined with light notes of oranges. The flavor is very grassy and with a dry bitter end, but I find the body a bit thin.

Hazy murky beige. Somewhat earthy aroma. Very earthy palate, chewy with canned mushrooms and oxidized hops. Hrm, not sure I like this.

argo0 (11642) - Washington DC, USA - JUN 1, 2006
(12oz bottle) Small white head atop a clear straw body. Aroma is medium sweet, peach, floral. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit/orange, grassy, light peach, floral, pine. Despite all these hop characteristic flavors, this isn’t especially bitter -- its bitterness is comparable to a middle-of-the-road West coast APA. Light-medium body, some crispness.

bhensonb (11526) - Woodland, California, USA - APR 20, 2011
bottle from Vintage Cellar. Pours golden amber with a transient fizzy whiteish head. Aroma of honey toasted malt? Flavor is pretty much resin. It’s not harsh, just firm. Followed by a lightly paperish caramel malt. There’s a lot of hop here. Just not NW style.
