This American Pale Ale is a refreshing session beer meticulously handcrafted with a unique Highland twist. Brewed with grains from America’s heartland, using Simcoe hops for bittering and dry hopped with Amarillo and Cascade for aromatics, this beer finishes crisp and clean. It is a plate pleasing seasonal experience.

12oz bottle poured into a pint glass. Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow with a one finger white had. Moderate lacing on the sides of the glass. Smells quite hoppy with some earthy/grassy notes. A little bready malt as well. Some nice grassy hops up front leading to a litte bit of bready grain and grapefruit. This is slightly fleeting as a mild bitterness takes over cleaning the flavors off the palate. A fairly dry, watery finish. Overall this is a decent session beer with good flavor. Unfortunately, the price point makes sessioning this beer pretty expensive.

Nice aromas. Very nice balance if brightness with bitterness. I like the grassy finish that has citrus lingering underneath. Not at all what unexpected from this beer. I wish I had tried it weeks ago. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Tremont Tavern. Aromas of citrus, grassy hops, some pine, and pale malts. Flavors of grassy hops, light pine, bit of spruce, and refreshing hop bitterness. Crisp and refreshing. On the lighter side and has a very nice hop profile. Nice.

Pours a deep golden into the glass, with a reductive head that leaves no lace of which to speak. The nose is straw, hay, grains and a silage hop, very grassy. Flavors are similar, of pilsner malt, grassy hops and a touch of pepper. It finishes with a highly peppered bitterness. The mouthfeel is substantive, with a slick oily palate. Feeling much more like a German Pils than an APA, this is a nice sessionista with lots of bitterness at its disposal.

Orlando, FL - Whole Foods - 12 oz bottle. Medium golden pour, nice snow white head with nice sticky lacing. Sweet floral-like aroma with hints of spruce. Flavor is is somewhat bold with hints of citrus, some apricot fruitiness, a wisp of nuttiness. Decently thick mouthfeel. Very refreshing after trouncing through Sea World on a hot spring day.

Draft at Brass Tap in Wesley Chapel. Pours a clear golden yellow color with a small white head. Good sudsy sheet of lacing along the glass. Crisp and clean aroma and flavor with a slight musty note as well. Nice hoppiness in the finish. Tasty and easy to drink.

Lots of earthy hop notes on the nose. Defiant PNW hops. Not much maltiness comes through on the nose. If you don’t like the smell of this beer, you probably won’t like the taste much either. It has a light pilsner style body that’s slightly fizzy. The afternotes are fairly earthy and long winded. Refreshing but not my favorite. Enjoyability 2/5.

Pours a gold color. OK hop aroma. Head lingers around the edge of the glass. Taste is tart, hops are bitter and up front. Bitter on back end. Mouthfeel was full. An OK Beer, alright for a warm spring day!

Bottle. This was not as good as I thought it would be. Aroma was grapefruit with a tad of the peel thrown in. The taste was hoppy but not in a pleasant way. Gold color, not much head.

An exceeding average American-styled pale ale. Pours clear light yellow with little head. Aroma shows saltine crackers, piney, grapefruit. Thin bodied the amped up bitter finish is thankfully short.
