Pours light and slight hazy gold with a finger of white head. Aroma has good malt character with piney citrus hops. Taste is slightly bitter with the piney hops spreading over the palate and then finishes very light. A nice warm weather brew.

on draft poured a copperish red color with a white head. a typical APA, nice nose of malts and hops. the flavor pretty much right down the middle of the road. good malt backbone...maybe some caramel in there and pretty standard amount of hops. nothing over the top and quite drinkable. medium bitterness on the end almost finishes dry.

Copper pour, white head. Pretty standard fare. Lightly hoppy, some bready malts. Nothing to go crazy over but solid.

Clear bright golden brew with white head and sticky lacing. Grassy, fruity aromas. Bread, sweet white grape flavors. Crisp & refreshing.

Had on tap at all souls pizza in avl. They have a Good lineup of spring beers on tap even though It doesn’t quite feel like spring. This pours a straw yellow With a decent one inch white head. Taste is clean And crisp. Nice citrus happening. Mouthfeel is pretty Light and carbonation on high side. Feels sort of Light and refreshing. Probably exactly what highland Was going for. Nothing standout or spectacular, but Totally solid. More is not always better.

NIce but a little too thin. Fine brewed but not much to say about it. It is enjoyable while relaxing.

For a session ale, this one has all the aroma and taste of a nice citrusy IPA. There is a nice grapefruit-pine bite at the end which is sometimes lost in session IPAs. Highland makes sure it doesn’t taste any different than their bigger meatier IPAs.

Slightly musty, slightly floral malt aroma. Longneck, OK label. Mineral, tangy, lightly hoppy, mild citrus. Medium body. Mild tangy finish with some hay and graininess. Thanks to LuckyDog for bringing this back from his Boston road trip.

Bottle. Nice, fresh citrus aroma. Light body, with decent carbonation. Flavors of citrus, finishes smooth and crisp with no dicernable aftertaste. Very solid session beer.

FROM NOTES: June 29, ’12 From a 12 ounce bottle into a pint glass. A: Fresh, crisp aromas of grassy hops with a lightly toasted caramel malt profile. A: Pours a clear light gold with a dense and creamy white head that settles to a thin cap, leaving some lacing. T: More clean notes of grassy hops, citrus, and lightly toasted bready malt. Nice and drinkable, perfect on a hot day like today... P: Smooth and light, with a thin body and good carbonation. O: Seems like sessionable hoppy beers are starting to populate the shelves of beer stores these days, and I like it. This is a fine one to add to the bunch!

Bottle, thanks to sevenhokie! Hoppy aroma with citrus and pine notes. Pours golden with a very thin white head and basically no lacing. Very smooth to start with a bit of earthiness, pine and citrus. Finishes dry with a bit of a bite from the hops on the finish. Good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
