3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz bottle poured into glass. For a spring ale I was expecting something more on the lines of easy drinking without a big hop profile. This one had me a little stunned when the hops were right up front and had a good presence in the flavor as well. Not too shabby.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 oz bottle. Pours golden yellow with fluffy whitish head. The aroma is fruity hops--apricot, tangerine, peach--with just a little bit of pine and white raisin. The flavor is dried apricot, white raisin, and a hint of pine. The bitterness is fairly subdued, giving way to hoppy freshness. The finish is fruity and slightly resinous. This is some easy-drinking. I like it.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Golden with a white head, nice lacing. The aroma is mostly malt and bread. A little bit of citrus. The flavor starts sweet and is balanced by peppery hops. The finish is very crisp and clean. Well done.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
on tap at Tylerís Apex, 03/13/11. Good aroma, sweet. citrusy. Grapefruit. Clean golden yellow color, ok head that faded quick. Minor lace. Bitter flavor, mildly so. Lite body, creamy mouthfeel, bitter dry finish. Good session beer, little early for a lawnmower, but this was tasty and could drink it all day long.

draft @ redlight redlight. Fruity aromas on the nose, sweet bread, with citrus. Pours very light blonde with a thick white head. Very mild session ale with bready malts and a very earthy bitterness with a hint of fruitiness in the finish. Not bad.

On tap at Tremont Tavern. Aromas of citrus, grassy hops, some pine, and pale malts. Flavors of grassy hops, light pine, bit of spruce, and refreshing hop bitterness. Crisp and refreshing. On the lighter side and has a very nice hop profile. Nice.

A tad on the light and watery side but a nice drink on a hot summer day. A littel bitter on the finish with some lemon citrus.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
bottle. this is one solid session beer loaded with hops! At 4.5% alcohol, I could drink this all day in the summer. pours a golden color with a slim white head. big dank citrus hop nose with a touch of underlying malt. medium body, crisp throughout with tons of bitterness. the Simcoe hops shine through with big pine and citrus notes. aggressive finish that sticks with you for such a lighter beer. this one showcases some great hops and is worth stocking your fridge up this summer.
