3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 StefanSD (1587) - Lakeside, USA - APR 12, 2011
12 oz bottle courtesy of Solan. Thanks. Pours a translucent yellow gold color with a small white head that quickly dissipates into a fine film. The aroma is relatively mild with some faint citrus and indistinct grains. The flavor is citrus hops forward with a nice biter character that involves grapefruit and pine. The palate is on the weak side and the carbonation is lively. Finishes short and dry. Overall: A nice little pale ale that is better than the sum of it parts, this would be perfect for a hot summer day.

On draft at Brass Tap, poured a clear golden yellow color, aromas of some yeast, grass, and a touchh of wood. Flavor is the same just a little flavor of aromas, ok beer overall.

3.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Cybercat (1911) - Georgia, USA - MAY 4, 2012
Aroma is yeasty, woody, and rather grassy. It pours a rather wan clear yellow, but at least the white head is thick and fluffy. Malty flavor has a strong hoppy, grassy overtone with a subtle note of yeast and a fair amount of bitterness, rather like an IPA. Texture is rather thin, though it has a good tingle. Though not Highland’s best effort, still worth at least a try. (And refreshing on a May day that feels like August!)

Pours yellow-gold with a small white head. Aroma is cedar-like pine and not much else. Taste is light white grapefruit and pine up front with mellow light malts and easy hop bitterness in the finish. A very crisp and clean tasting beer. Like it.

Nice aroma. Appearance was very light -- not much darker than a macro. Not much head or lacing. Very drinkable.
