Tried this at the SRAF festival as it was one of the prize winners. A very easy going beer pleasant aroma with a hint of lemon, struck me as a beer I could have easily continued to consume all night long

Cask @ The Golden Rule, Edinburgh 170612
Golden yellow, clear, frothy thick white head
Aroma - not getting much here, touch of light malt, vague hint of hops
Taste -soft sweet pale malts, bit of fruity malt, background of bitter hops
Palate - Very dry, light body. Finish - much more biscuity cereal malts come through, bitter linger, a bit too dry for me

Soft, grassy wild flower on the nose. Soft carbonation. LOTS of lemon in the mouth with some caramel and flowery hops. Dainty.

[cask at Highland tap takeover, Cloisters Bar, Edinburgh] Clear golden pour, faintly grassy nose. Extremely sessionable – smooth on the palate, has that standard Highland mix of musty sweetness and pithy orange. Biscuity malt finish – bit of Weetabix in there. Reading that last sentence, doesn’t sound appealing – but it’s a great session beer, well crafted [11042012]

McNeillR (1088) - SCOTLAND - APR 11, 2012
Clean battery metallic notes, generic bitter body, dull carbonation. Surprising zest with lean lemon squeeze without any telling traditional staleness in a Fruit Salad style sweet linger, after a bland malt base tee’d up a dry drop for the finish. A suitable session effort, nothing unsuprising, nothing they can’t "Best" with future efforts though. (Cask, Highland Taps Takeover, Cloisters)

500ml bottle from The Wine Cellars, Lutterworth. Pours dusted straw with an initially dense billow of foam. Crisp and slightly biting with good stewed hop notes; tea, honey, some lemon bitterness. Tea and biscuit afters. Soapy, slightly sickbowl-accented aroma with pine, honey and orange breaking through. Pleasant.
