COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular. Also available bottled.

Appearance: Pale and golden - but not too pale as to look like lager.
Nose: Lemony citrus hops with a hint of grapefruit and spicy, peppery goldings.
Palate: Full on hops – styrian goldings to the fore, goldings giving a balanced middle and finally the rich malty fullness of maris otter as a backbone. The finish is refreshing with hops that become dryer if the cask lasts long enough!
Summary: A modern IPA, not overly bitter but still nicely ‘hoppy’ and at 4.8%, just about a session IPA for a sensible night’s drinking. The hop profile is nothing short of stunning.

(Cask at Akkurat, 20111116) The beer poured pale golden and a little bit hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma was fruity and sweet. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, hops, malts, grasin and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity and bitter. Suprisingly fruity for a British IPA. I liked.

Bottled. A golden beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of lemons, straw, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and cardboard, leading to a dry and bitter finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.
