Appearance: Dark mahogany in colour with ruby highlights.
Nose: A lovely roasted grain aroma and some dark berry fruit.
Palate: After a slight tartness (always a good sign in a porter), coffee and chocolate dominate the palate, with a hint of smoke lending complexity. Nutty bitter chocolate pervades the persistent finish.

UPDATED: OCT 29, 2013 I try this beer in the house of ratebeer master chriso during his many wonders pre-GBBF tasting. For the event I travel to London in England, land of queens and Pippa where people drink many cups of tea and like eat the fish with french fries. This beer is dark brown like the skin of well-sunned sexy ladies. Very sweet flavor with much chocolate. Some earthy bitterness remind me of pretty ladies giving me no hanky, no panky. I enjoy this beer but I drink only small portion because in my presence were many other ratebeer men including big ticker Danish men. Thanks we had many other beers so altogether I made good boost. (3.6)

Bottle at chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2013 - London. Pours clear brown with a frothy tan head. Sugary bread on the nose, dark toast, chocolate. Medium to heavy sweet flavor with milk chocolate, rich bread, low bitterness. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Somewhat creamy. Sweet on the finish with dark chocolate, bread and light dirt. Good.
